Indestructible Dog Toys

Indestructible Dog Toys

If your dog is anything like mine, you’ve dropped plenty on dog toys, only to have them completely destroyed within a few days – if you are lucky, that is. Sometimes, it’s just a matter of a couple of hours. Fortunately, dog toys have come a long way over the years and there are now a wide variety of indestructible dog toys on the market today. The trick becomes finding the indestructible toy that the dog actually wants to play with.

Here are some that I’ve had a lot of luck with my Springer.

Teeny Bopper Rubber Dog Toy

Try has he may, my dog has been unable to destroy this toy! Maybe it’s because he’s having too much fun playing with it… It’s got a unique egg shaped design that is heavier on the bottom so it wobbles and rolls as he’s playing with it, so his interest is kept up. Sometimes, we’ll throw some treats inside that really keep him happy as well! This has been an excellent toy – one that I highly recommend. It’s make of 100% natural rubber. Is 3.5″ tall.

Multi-Texture Chew Ring Indestructible Dog Toy

Here’s another great toy – not only because it’s next to impossible for a dog to destroy it, but because we both have fun playing tug of war with it and it’s great for the dog’s teeth. The last part is probably the best part of it seeing as most people want their dog to live a long and healthy life. Keeping your dog’s teeth and gums healthy is critical to the overall long term health. This toy certainly helps in that department because the cotton / polyester rope helps remove built up tartar. So it’s a win, win, win all the way around. The dog is happy and healthy, you get some enjoyment out of it and it’s one less to you are going to have to replace because you dog destroyed it!

Orka Gripper

Another fantastic toy we have and have been really happy with is the Orka Gripper. The same can likely be said for most rope toys, because they are incredibly durable and are excellent indestructible dog toys.

If you’ve got an overly enthusiastic chewer on your hands, you simply won’t go wrong with this toy. Not only will it help remove soft tartar from your dog’s teeth, this toy is a blast for both the dog and owner. In fact, if you have two dogs, it’ll work for both of them at the same time. Tug of War with this toy is very popular for dog and owner – or with two dogs. It’s a hoot to see two of them playing, especially when they are both strong willed because they’ll keep it up for long periods of time. The size is approximately 5″ x 2.5″.

Kong Xtreme Goodie Bone Indestructible Dog Toy

This is yet another toy that your dog – even if he’s a gold medal chewer – will not be able to destroy! An added benefit of this heavy duty rubber bone is that is has a hole at each end to hold treats. I have yet to run into a dog who doesn’t enjoy a toy that has a built in treat dispenser, and this one is no different in that regard. Kong makes a paste that you can put into this bone (or you could use something like peanut butter) that will keep your pooch busy for quite some time, ensuring that they’ve got all the treats or past out of it.

Amazon has the Kong Extreme Goodie Bone on sale now.
